“the science of compatibilty” thank god they aren’t working for nasa…

“eHarmony is based upon a complex matching system developed through extensive research with married couples. One of the requirements for successful matching is that participants fall within certain defined profiles. If we find that we will not be able to match a user using these profiles, we feel it is only fair to inform them early in the process.

We are so convinced of the importance of creating compatible matches to help people establish happy, lasting relationships that we sometimes choose not to provide service rather than risk an uncertain match.

Unfortunately, we are not able to make our profiles work for you. Our matching model could not accurately predict with whom you would be best matched. This occurs for about 20% of potential users, so 1 in 5 people simply will not benefit from our service. We hope that you understand, and we regret our inability to provide service for you at this time.”

WTF?? do they not know who i am?? :0)

lets see…i was rejected by eHarmony…(cheated on my entire “relationship” and then rejected by a database in cyberspace…feeling self-deprecating much?) lol…

they can’t “match” me because:
i’m too nice…
i’m too “outside of the box” of a thinker…
i’m too “able to cope” and “perceptive” emotionally…
i’m too “focused and flexible” at the same time with my conscientiousness
and too “friendly” and “communicative”…

hmmm..so i get it….i just need to become a royal bitch on wheels…never speak to strangers…never volunteer at a charity again…beat my kids and kick the dogs daily when i get home…and i’m golden!!!

EHarmony is amazingly small minded and limited in it’s abilities. Imagine … 20% can’t be matched?!?! Seriously?? How can you advertise as the ‘best way’ when 20 our of 100 are deemed unworthy of love and connection based on the questions asked and the responses given.

With those odds and limitations I’d rather take my chances on some OTHER site that doesn’t make me feel completely unlovable if I can’t be matched.

perhaps it’s the low quality of the available ‘applicants’ in THEIR pool. just sayin’….

sometimes, you just have to say, “y’know…. it’s NOT ME, it’s THEM!”

Do not look for an explanation, you are just too good for them.

I used E Harmony once and got two dates out of my matches….one was certifiably insane, the other a crack addict…

Perhaps that’s God saying: Be single for a while–you have healing to do. The right guy is out there… He just might not be on eHarmony.
